HANEFELD sponsors the Hamburgische Kulturstiftung’s auction

We are pleased to share that HANEFELD contributed as one out of four sponsors to the Hamburgische Kulturstiftung’s fourth art auction for the benefit of Hamburg’s young art and cultural scene. This year’s auction raised approximately 450,000 euros to support artists, galleries and artistic projects in Hamburg. A total of 65 works - by Stephan Balkenhol, Birgit Brenner, Angela Bulloch, F.C. Gundlach, Anne Imhof, William Kentridge and many others - were sold at the live auction on 15 November 2021 with auctioneer Dr. Katharina zu Sayn-Wittgenstein (Sotheby's) both at the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg as well as online via Artsy. The contributing artists and galleries will receive a share of the proceeds and remaining proceeds will be used to support projects by young artists of all disciplines in Hamburg. The pandemic has greatly impacted artists and cultural institutions and we are prouder than ever to support them.
