Charlotte Matthews is co-organizing the next Paris Investment Arbitration Group debate

Our Paris-based Senior Associate Charlotte Matthews is co-organizing the next Paris Investment Arbitration Group debate, taking place on Wednesday, 11 March 2026 in collaboration with the Club Español e Iberoamericano del Arbitraje under 40 (CEIA 40), hosted at the offices of Bredin Prat.

The debate will center on the following motion: This House believes that the International Court of Justice (ICJ)'s Advisory Opinion on the Obligations of States in respect of Climate Change exposes a potential incompatibility between the enforcement of international investment guarantees and effective climate action.
