In view of our numerous mandates in cross-border disputes, we have deep experience and knowledge in private international law. Our team is well versed in dealing with relevant rules, such as the Rome Regulations and domestic private international law statutes.
A particular focus of our work in the field of international civil procedure is the enforcement of arbitral awards and state court judgments under the New York Convention, the Brussels I Regulation (Regulation (EU) 1215/2012) or the Lugano Convention.
In addition, we provide support to our clients in relation to issues of international civil procedure law, such as the service of documents (for example, according to the European Regulation on the Service of Documents (Regulation (EU) 1393/2007), the taking of evidence in international proceedings, and legal assistance by foreign courts.
