Our Paris-based Senior Associate Charlotte Matthews is organizing an ICC YAAF event on the 2026 ICC Arbitration Rules, which entered into force on 1 June 2026.

On 16 June at Bird & Bird France, three procedural incidents drawn from a fictional arbitration will unfold before a live audience. For each, attendees vote before hearing from counsel — Onur Okşan and Charlotte Fromont argue the case — with Andrea Pastrana ruling as arbitrator. Carole Malinvaud will close with a debrief drawing on the live poll results and her outlook on the practical implications of the new rules. The evening will be moderated by Kimberley Bazelais.
