HANEFELD is pleased to share the following update
As a Hamburg-based law firm, HANEFELD is committed to supporting its local but equally international arbitration community and is pleased to share the following updates:
● Dr. Johanna Büstgens has been appointed to the Board of the Hamburg Arbitration Circle e.V. for a three-year term, joining Antje Baumann and Dr. Simon Manner. Established in 2004, the Hamburg Arbitration Circle is a community of around 90 Hamburg-based arbitration practitioners dedicated to promoting arbitration in the region through regular specialized events. Johanna’s appointment is a well-deserved recognition of her ongoing commitment to the Hamburg arbitration community.
● Nicole Grohmann will be delivering a lecture on “State Courts vs. Arbitration” and Edward L. Rensmann will be hosting a roundtable on “The Impact of Sanctions and Countermeasures on Contracts”, both as part of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program “International Commercial Arbitration in Times of Global Challenges”, organised by the University of Hamburg.
● Nicole Grohmann will also moderate the closing panel at the accompanying conference, jointly organised by the Hamburg Arbitration Circle and the University of Hamburg.
The conference takes place at Edmund-Siemers-Allee 1, Westflügel, ESA W 221, Hamburg. To register, please email sabine.nerling@uni-hamburg.de. The full programme is available below.
